The following roads in Readington Township remained closed as of Thursday morning due to either fallen trees, flood damage or blockage from disabled cars:

  • Route 22 East and West near Van Horne Road
  • Dreahook Road between Johnson and Dogwood
  • Pleasant Run Road
  • Old York Road near Forest Hill Drive

Motorists are urged to use caution driving, as there is still a “significant amount” of debris in the roads, Readington Township police said.

Meanwhile, at least 10 people across the state died as a result of the overnight flooding, with numbers still expected to rise.
